Osun uniform crisis: PDP tells gov to solve problems he created

The Osun State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, reacted angrily to media reports that it masterminded the crisis caused by the government’s not-well-thought-out educational policies in the state, telling the governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola and his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), to face the problems they created instead of pointing accusing fingers.
Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, pooh-poohed the position credited to the Osun State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Mr Ajibola Bashir, that the PDP orchestrated the crisis at the Baptist High School, Iwo, saying it was disappointing that the ruling party in the state could cook such lies after its obvious misstep on education, which has turned things upside down in the state.
“We were surprised to read that investigations had been conducted into the crisis, but it was bemusing that the APC, rather than face facts and cover its face in shame, pointed accusing fingers at the PDP. That is another failure of the Aregbesola government, its inability to take responsibility for its ineffectiveness and mis-governance, and one more reason our people should reject them.”
Olaoluwa said the Osun government had been living a lie for three years, telling people about non-existent projects and building billboards rather than infrastructure and lives. He noted that the “APC should come clean with the purported investigation report and not drag PDP’s name in the mud as part of its chicanery and propaganda-driven government.”
