Bishop urges Aregbesola to boost security

The Bishop of Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Ilesa South West, Rt. Rev. Samuel Egbebunmi, has asked Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola to boost security in the state, especially in Ilesa Township.  The bishop said this on Monday in Ilesa at a press conference to commence the fifth anniversary of the inauguration of the diocese. He also called on residents of the state to always assist security agencies by giving them useful information that could help them prevent crimes. The bishop said the call became imperative given the spate of violent crimes in the state. He said a successful businessman in Ilesa, Mr. Idowu Obembe, was kidnapped in 2012 and was eventually killed by his captors while some hoodlums abducted a septuagenarian, Mrs. Yinka Oba, and killed her driver in the process”.
