Aregbesola, Fayemi, Ahmed for public lecture in Lagos

Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, and Senator representing Ekiti Central, Babafemi Ojudu, are amonghigh profile guests and speakers expected at the first anniversary public lecture cum gala night of ‘thegazellenews.com’ on Friday.

According to a statement in Lagos by organisers of the event and signed by publisher/editor-in-chief of thenews portal, Musbau Rasak, and chairman of the organising committee, Idris Oseni, the event will take place at De Renaissance Hotel, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

Ojudu will be the guest speaker while Aregbesola will deliver a keynote address at the occasion.

Both will speak on the main lecture topic, ‘Online Media: Challenges and Roles in a Developing Democracy’.

Both Governors of Ekiti and Kwara states, Kayode Fayemi and Abdul Fattah Ahmed, respectively are expected to co-chair the event while Senate Minority Whip, Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon, will be the father of the day.

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, are chief hosts for the event.
