Fashola, Aregbesola, Babangida Aliyu for Edo Youth Summit

WorldStage Newsonline-- Governors Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, Rauf Aregbesola of the State of Osun and Babangida Aliyu of Niger State are among the top speakers expected at a Youth Summit organized by the Edo State Government for Saturday, January 18, 2014.

In a statement, Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Mr Peter Okhiria said theme of the summit is “Nigerian Youth: Defining the Issues and Setting Agenda for the Future.”

Expected at the summit are Youth Organizations, Civil Society groups, Student Union leaders and other Youth stakeholders.

Aside the three governors, other guest speakers expected at the summit are Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar, President, Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC; Prof Pat Utomi, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, Comrade Peter Esele, Ex-President, Trade Union Congress, TUC and Miss Toyosi Akerele, CEO, ARISE.

Okhiria said a New Year Musical Concert will also hold same day at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, featuring WizKid, Wande Coal, Eedris Abdulkareem, Timaya, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Osayomore Joseph, K-Cee, Harry Song & Group, Sleazy E, Terry G, and other top Music stars and Comedians, including Basket Mouth, I Go Dye, I Go Save, Gordons, Buchi, among others.
