No doubt, Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State’s middle name is controversy Despite this, Aregbesola remains a reference point in terms of infrastructural development. Within the last three years, he has transformed Osun state in a manner none of his predecessors had done especially in the area of rural and urban road network To cap this phenomenal achievement, Aregbesola will go down in history as the best governor ever to have governed Osun State if he can demonstrate the political will to reverse his same uniform and school merger policies These policies that are creating unrest in public schools, to the best of my understanding, are not well thought out. To reverse this policy is not a mark of weakness but the hallmark of a statesman and antidote to rising tension.
